Dear All,
We had a get together for the first few running Armortek vehicles here in the UK over the excellent 1/6th Tank Proving ground
here in the UK.
There are masses of challenges for the models(ie driving up 45 degree inclines),and we had them performing well,all the models ran extremly well,we had only on break down ( my own) with a broken track link due to leaving a screw driver
in the tracks whilst taking out a track link earlierb !,easily fixed
surprisingly quickly ,just 10 mins,field maintanence on 185kgs tigers is not as difficult as you might imagine.Also we had a film crew turn up to take some footage of the models in action with explosives and a scale mine field !,they built.An excellent fun day !

Hi Dave,

excellent pics! I always said they should use well-built rc tanks for low budget WW II movies instead of cheaply modified M48s, M60s and Leopard 1s.

This scale would do the job - the quality as well!

Are you guys selling copies of those videos by any chance?

if you do come over,and i have some advance notice then you could certainly come along to see the Tanks in action !,i also have a 1/6th PUMA 234/2 RC model.
The tank 1/6th is located in West Sussex just outside Brighton on the south coast.here are a few pics of the location.

Damn, I studied in Portsmouth, but I never knew there was anything like this

I'm going to work in Essex it's just about 200km I guess...
I think I'll come along some day!
