Hello,
sorry for writing in English but I don't understand much German.
I'm trying to build a 1/6 Panzer IV Ausf. J and one of the problems is tracks (ketten). I will probably have to buy them from somewhere/someone.
So my question is, does anyone know if I can buy 1/6 Panzer IV ketten anywhere? If you have had ketten made by someone else how much did that cost?
Thanks in advance and greetings from Sweden!

How much do you think just the tracks (links and pins) would cost?

I have fallen in love with the late Ausf. J with the wiremesh schürzen, I just looks so cool. That's my favorite. I don't think I've seen any models at all of Panzer IV with wiremesh schürzen so maybe it's hard to make those.
Ausf. J can have both "standard" schürzen and wiremesh, it can be with zimmerite or without, it can have regular muffler or the flammentöter version, it can have different versions of the cupola lid, it can be converted to beobachtungenwagen and panzerbefehlswagen so there are quite a lot of variants that people can convert them into if you choose to go with ausf. J. You can also make panzerjäger IV, different FlaK versions, Brummbär etc on the chassie.
I've put a Ausf. J referense page on my homesite, it has info on modifications, features and lot's of images. Check out http://www.laban.nu select "panzer IV - project" and then "Pz IV ausf J"
