Dear RC tank modellers,
I am a Japanese RC tank modeller of large scale mainly centered in over 1/10.
This post is the very first here in this forum and I hope to be able to exchange good and fruitful information each other in English.
I can not understand German at all.

welcome into the rcpanzer forum. what cind of models are you have, WW2 ore modern tanks !? did you built your owen models ?
my favorit scale is 1/16 and 1/7

hello tankbuilders
looking forward to hear from other people outside germany although this forum is one ,if not the, best.
I believe it is important to use the internet as it was intended-worlwide! imagine how it would be if there was no internet,finding info about the tank you would like to build would take a lot more time.
I was born in holland I am living in germany for 3 years now,for me it is no problem at all to read or write in english,allthough I sometimes have trouble to find the words I'm looking for ,luckely my brother in law is brittish.
I hope this english board gets on the road greetings dertiger

My name is Kent W and I live in Sweden.
For about 4 years ago I found Mark-1 website (from England) and has been hooked ever since.
I spend time on the forum there allmost every day.
After a while all moved over to an independent site UK Tank Club started and there is now a lot of "traffic".

Gentlemen, I personally think it is agood idea to have an english speaking board. You must understand alot of the info that we get in the U.S. comes from Europe. Where are the major tank dealers located.....England and Germany (for after market parts). Where the Europeans have known about new parts coming out, we wait until someone posts in an all English forum, which could be a month or longer after the part has come out. It is extremely dificult for an English forum here in the U.S. to have an "German" or "Spanish" or whatever section, in their forums. There are so many different nationalities here, that we basically donot have a choice but to keep it English. In Europe, since it is mandatory to take english in school (not all, but most European countries) you have the advantage of being ahead of everyone here in the US. Depending on what US State you live in, you are not required to take any language if you don't want to. Ich zum beispeil, hab in Deutschland gelebt (25 jahre),dienstlich beim US Army und dann als zivilist. 2005 bin ich zuruck in die heimat gegangen (Texas) und finde mehr raus was los ist, fuer Panzer als sonst wo. Wenn du, zum beispiel ein MG 34 suchst fuer deine KT, du kannst lang suchen. Ich hab mein bestellt aus Deutschland. Momentan in die U.S. finds keine. So Bitte jungs und Maedels, schliess (?) unds nicht raus.

Hi !
I live in Norway. This forum is one of the best. I have found a lot of tips and tricks here.
I use Alta Vista to translate from german to english.
I have a Tamiya 1/16 Tiger. I just got a Puch G6 from Ebay germany.
A few days ago I recived a M113 1/16 from Peter Muller.
Both the Puch and the M113 will be painted in Norwegian army colors

Hello everybody,
I find it good, even if here times moves again a little. It is to be able to exchange nevertheless beautifully also with model construction colleagues from the whole world.
Further so and I hope, I soon beautiful illustrations and results
