I have a bandai Sturmgeschutz IV that will be going into my workshop soon and im looking for as many good online picture references i can get. Does anyone here have personal pics from museums or displays? Does anyone know of any photosites with pics of this vehicle?
Also did the Stug 4 ever have the waffle pattern zimmerit applied to it or did it just have the standard wavy tiger type pattern applied?

Good morning,
as far as I know there is only one surviving Stug IV, or let's say the remnants, what are left of this one.
And that's in Poland in an Open Air museum. Not pretty much useful as a reference as there are missing all the details.
I've got some action and after battle photos, which I will send you via email this evening.
Maybe these files are of help for you.
Most of these photofiles just show the wavy tiger type zimmerit.
Late production vehicles naturally didn't show up any zimmerit.
The Stug III produced at the Alkett plant (before beeing badly damaged by Allied bombers in '44) just showed the waffle type zim.
Cheers
Uwe

Thanks for the reply guys. I look forward to the email.
Norbert the top pic you posted appears to be a late Stug 3 Ausf G with the saukopf mantlet.
