What is the general concensus of the kit from AFV modeler? Prety good fit and detail? does it run well? How is the amphibious feature on it?
Also does anyone make a 1/16 Luchs?
Thanks
Sean

Hi Sean,
the AFV Fuchs is a really good and scale model. The chassis is preassembled and it is no problem to finish the model. The model is also prepared for amphibious operations. AFV is working at the moment in workable propellers wich will be availlable soon.
Have a look to this link AFV-Fuchs for some pictures. If you have further questions, don't hestitate to ask us.
I think the Luchs is only availlable in 1:15 and 1:8. There was a kit from Mr. Rathke, but as far as I know, he is no longer selling his kits.
Best regards

Thanks GG
I had seen that thread which is what interested me in asking after the kit. Thank you for the response. Doesit come with everything that is seen in that thread or did that individual add alot to it. Also is the upper hull made of laser cut styrene or is it metal?

Hi Sean,
the white material on the pictures in the thread is Polystyrol. Some details are made in Resin and the clamps for the tools are made of photo etched parts. The kit includes everything to build a complete and detailled model. The only thing you need is the remote controller and the battery. See also the pictures in the second link.
