First off let me say i have seen some amazing works on this board. the detail levels and options added to some of the vehicles is astounding.
However unfortunately dont speak or read german. This does not keep me from being able to follow along since alot of the pictures are very descriptive.
I am posting to introduce myself and to ask for some assistance. I am getting a 1/6 scale Leopard2A6 in a couple weeks and it may need some details. Parts such as the Ice cleats, Driver mirrors and support shafts, tools. Does anyone here know if any modern Bundeswehr vehicle equipment is available in 1/6 scale? I already have a crew with the proper pattern camo and a set of heads on the way with the current padded leather helmet. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you
Sean

Thank you Sacha.
I have been to both sites in my searches but neither of them has the parts in 1/6 scale that i can see. The closest was the first site you listed at 1/8 scale but i can tell that the scale difference will be too great. Its suprising the size difference between 1/6 and 1/8 scale.

That is actually the VERY Leo2 im buying. The main distributor also sells in the UK and US. In the buildup pics that i have found it shows the ice cleats and other smaller details, yet the built model with alex next to it does not have those details. Im just looking for a source in case it doesnt come with the detail.

Hi Sean,
Congratulations on your latest purchase. Great piece of armour.
On the buildup pictures you see the positive modelbase which is used to create the negative moulds. These moulds are then used for the production of the tank.
It is not uncommon that certain details are discarded during the developping process. I have experienced the same with my 1:8 Tiger I. Maybe Mark will create some after-market details, if not you may have to wait until a certain other manufacturer decides to go for the Leo.
Cheers,
Ad

Thank you all for the welcome. It helps, especially tonight. Im a little stressed from my upcoming move and havnt been able to sleep. Im hoping to pass out soon and get at least 3 hours so i can take care of some buisness tomorrow. This has also thrown a kink into my tanking since im trying to sleep during time i could be driving those wonderful tanks. oh well.
I hope to find some more time this afternoon to work on the dozer blade for the PSO and start configuring the new rectangular headlights for it. The lights will be built right around the fiber optic so this will keep the headlight working. I have already relocated the tail lights according to the photos but accidentially snapped one of the Fiber optic lights for it.
