what is wrong with the 1/16 tamiya stock kingtiger gun barrel?

hi tomzag,
some guys mean the Tamyia gun has'nt the correct size, i.e. muzzle brake is more like 1/15. Have a look in the sticky Tiger I thread at finescales forum - there is a answer to this topic. Perhaps you already know this and try to get more infos  ?
But besides the correct size (don't know whether the brassbarrels gun has correct size) a machined aluminum gun is more accurate and don't need to be grinded or puttied and is havier too.
