Hello All,
After building planes, cars and boats I have decided to build myself a tiger 1 tank.
I\\\'m looking for the dimensions of the hull, pref. with the exact shapes of the hull plates. I was already provided with top and side view with dimensions, but am still missing the backplate with locations of bolts etc. used for connecting the exhaust pipes and other things.
I want to start with a 1:16 model and if all goes well, make a larger one after that
Cheers!

Ach..und noch ein Tip.

Da sollte man mit ein bischen Aufwand auch die Bohrungen und allerlei befestigungspunkt auf der Rückplatte finden.

Serge

Hello Roland,
sorry but I don't understand quite right, what you want to tell us.
Drawings sometimes are rather expensive (e.g. we paid 800 € for scanning and drawing a single Leopard II track link); therefore I can understand that nobody is amused to share it without paying, because WHEN it is shared it is soon distributed all over the world. In the times of huge paper plans everybody understood why a plan had its costs and nearly nobody made illegal duplicates, but today those limits are fallen....... -- Viele Grüße
Gerhard

Dear Gerhard,
I was talking about simple drawings, but as authentic as possible, not professional industrial technical plans.
The majority of RC tank enthusiasts are not mechanics who use professional machines.
The building of the armor plates of the chassis and the turret of a metal tank is possible and cheaper. Small parts can be purchased.
The superb achievements shown on this site are made by professionals. They make us dream.
The amateurs like me can only be inspired by them for their models.
Regards,
Roland

Hi Roland,
sorry, I may have misunderstood you. But 'authentic as possible' lets me think of very exactly builded drawings, usable for CAD / CAM; e.g. like this track link for a king tiger:

Here are several members who have the skills and the machines to use such drawings (no, not me ) .
-- Viele Grüße
Gerhard

Hallo Gerhard,
Very nice and professional work. I like these early Tiger B tracklinks, more estetic than the production type.
Fortunately for my 1/10 Tiger I project, i bought steel tracks from Asiatam. A big problem solved.
I found drawings of panzer plates in this tread, but the dimensions are unreadables.
http://www.rcpanzer.de/apboard/thread.php?id=12704&start=1&seite=1#6
So i'll use "84,6 KBs basic-dim-left.pdf" as reference and revise the drawings of http://metspra.ru/category/drawing/
I want to be precise as possible…
Mfg
Roland

Hallo Serge,
I use the plans as a reference. My Tiger project started with the opportunity to purchase the steel tracks sold by Asiatam. These tracks are slightly larger than those on a 1/10 scale.
I have to adapt the plans with a correction factor.
I will try to make the steel turret. The plans in this website must also be adapted.

A lot of job to do…
Thanks for your help.
Happy new year to all steelbeast fans
Roland
